There are 3 types of study tasks you will be asked to complete over the course of the next 10 months:

Questionnaires: Please complete the Baseline Questionnaire soon after enrolling in the study. The study coordinator will send you a link to the questionnaire via email.

Collect Dried Blood Spot Samples:
You are asked to collect a Dried Blood Spot sample every other month for the 10 months you are participating in the study (i.e. 5 samples total, collected once every 2 months). These samples will be tested for the presence of antibodies against various respiratory viruses (ex: COVID-19, RSV, H5N1).
You are asked to collect a Saliva sample every other month for the 10 months you are participating in the study (i.e. 5 samples total, collected once every 2 months).
Saliva and Dried Blood Spot samples should be collected as close to the same time as possible.
Instructions on how these samples are to be collected are included in your collection kits. You may also use the video below.

Keeping track of Deadlines:
A Participant Reference Card is included in your sampling kit to help keep track of sampling dates. You are asked to complete the Saliva and Dried Blood Spot collections within a 14-day window from the dates listed on your Card. Please contact the study coordinator if you are unsure about timing of testing. An example schedule can be found below:

Mailing Your Samples:
Plan to mail your samples within 24 hours of collection to ensure that they arrive for testing as soon as possible.
Accessing Your Results:
Throughout the course of the study, you will be notified by email when new antibody results are viewable in your personal results portal, which you can access by scanning the QR code on your Participant Reference Card, or through the link below. If you prefer not to be contacted by email, please contact the study coordinator to set up alternative arrangements.
